The University of Navarra Law School offers the Anglo-American Law Program (AALP) as a necessary complement to the traditional law degree. This is a new style to study law in Spain: European law and Anglo-American law together in the same degree.

Anglo-American Law plays a vital role not only in the United States but also in many other countries. International legal institutions and law firms need lawyers who have working knowledge of both the civil and common law systems. Therefore, it is essential for European law students to be familiar with common law.

The AALP follows the regular academic year at the University of Navarra Law School and covers the major topics of the common law system. The AALP is taught by professors from U.S. Law Schools.

The AALP is taught entirely in English. Students therefore need to demonstrate their language level by passing a personal interview.
